We've been practicing eating solid foods for a while now and it's been tricky. I started off feeding Charlotte rice cereal (around 4 months old) and she didn't care for it too much. Then, I tried sweet potatoes and she liked it a little better, but it's hard for her to learn the different technique of swallowing verses sucking.
Tonight we tried peas and she loved it! I couldn't feed it fast enough! I know she looks messy, but it's so much cleaner than she was with the sweet potatoes or the cereal. More food was actually getting into her mouth this time.
More peas please!
