Everyday's a birthday at our house. Whether it be Ollie, the octopus; Bebe, the bear; or one of Charlotte's many babies, who's names are just "Baby", she makes it known each morning who we're going to celebrate that day. But in March, both Justin and I have "real" birthdays to celebrate and Charlotte was in FULL party planning mode.
When you're 3, a party's not a party unless there's a candle to blow out!
Justin had requested his favorite cookies, Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. We used the yummy recipe that I found here. The key when making any oatmeal chocolate chips cookies, is to grind the oats very fine before you add them to the batter. It will make them very soft and chewy!
Charlotte helped me decorate the plate for a perfect presentation!
Justin had a fun day playing golf with friends and then just the 2 of us went out for a nice dinner at Fearing's. I surprised him this year, by getting him a 35 year old scotch. He was a very happy man!
I think Justin took a couple pics on his phone, but during my birthday, sweet friends, Amanda and Erin took me to breakfast and then Justin came home from work early to send me off for a massage! It was wonderful! After that, we ended the day at our favorite Mexican restaurant, Mi Cocina.
The next night, more friends, Katie, Heidi and Erin took me to a fabulous sushi diner!
Just like Charlotte, I LOVE BIRTHDAYS TOO!
