Update

Please excuse that this posting is so long....but I haven't written in awhile and need to catch up.

Charlotte is so busy and so much fun, we almost have to pinch ourselves to see if she's real. Being two, has brought on so many new and wonderful adventures. She LOVES princesses and anything dress-up, loves school (Mother's Day Out), loves to read books, and LOVES to do things "by my self"!! She is 70% of height and weight of other two year olds. We don't know where she's getting her height, but "bring it girl"!! There is an old wives tale that says to double their height at age 2 and that's how tall they'll be fully grown. If that's the case, then she'll be my height~ 5'6"!
She is very smart (of course)! Counts to 13 in English and 10 in Spanish and knows her colors and shapes well. She has a VERY good memory especially when I tell her at night that if she goes to sleep well she can wear a purple princess dress in the morning. When she wakes up, that's the first thing she'll ask for. She lives for wearing princess dresses!! We've been known to run errands and attend playdates in those dresses!
Even though she has her father's temperament, and gets frustrated at times, if you talk through things with her, she gets it and settles down quickly. I almost hesitate to write this, but we've yet to know what a true temper tantrum is.
She is very sweet girl. She uses sweet words like: thank you, please, bless you, and my favorite, I love you so much! One week after school, she told me that she "throw toys and kick" and her teacher told her "no more kitchen until really nice". After an email exchange with her teacher, thankfully, I found that it was not her, but that two boys in the classroom threw and kicked some toys and that Charlotte witnessed the scene. She told me that Charlotte is always precious at school and very sweet to all of her friends. There's nothing better that a mom could hear than that!
We attend Mommy and Me ballet class on Fridays with Ms. Holly. Ms. Holly is a hero in Charlotte's eyes. She loves her and loves to follow everything she does in class. Charlotte is so cute to watch! She has brought that love of dancing home and likes to perform for Justin and I at night. She stands on her little pink stool and makes up the songs as she goes by looking around her room (ex: lalalala, books, lalalalala, door, lalalalala, baby). Our favorite is at the end of her songs, she takes a bow! It is so adorable and funny. We usually have tears in our eyes from laughing so much. I did get a video of it and will try to download it soon.
I could go on and on, but for now I'll sum it by saying that we thank God everyday for putting Charlotte in our lives. She is such a wonderful gift. We are truly blessed.

Charlotte dressed up saying that she's ready to go to work. She has on her daddy's tie and ball cap, green Tinker Bell dress, and a red make-up case that she calls her briefcase.

Cute and colorful!

Dallas's record breaking snow day. We hurried to get outside before breakfast to make our 1st snowman.

Erin and the boys came to check out our Frosty

Daddy got to play too!

Dress up flapper w/ fairy wings, of course!

Charlotte got a kick out of this! She posed in her highchair and said, "Look at me, look at me, I'm laying down in my chair!!" "heeheeehee!"

just chill'in
