Summer Camp

Charlotte had her 1st day of Da Vinci Summer Camp today. All morning I'd ask her if she wanted to go to school and she'd shout, "YEA!". Below are the pictures of our morning.

Getting ready to leave the house, trying to get a good picture before we left.

She's more interested in the birds than posing

She had a great 1st day. She cried a bit when I dropped her off, but with Ollie in hand, comforted herself quickly. The teacher told me that another little boy was having a hard morning and continued to cry, so Charlotte offered Ollie to him to help him feel better! My sweet pea ~ she melts my heart!

Here is her art work she made this morning. She decorated the paper with stickers of trucks and trains. What an artist!

Charlotte, Mommy is SO PROUD of you!!!

Best Daddy in the World

Happy Father's Day, Justin!!
WE LOVE YOU!!

I tried to get Charlotte to say, "Happy Father's Day", but all that would come out was, "DAY!"
Maybe next year.

18 months

It seems that this month has already flown by. I can't believe that our little baby is 18 months old!! She is such a big girl now. So many fun things happen each day in our big world. She loves to sing and play. Her favorite toys are balls, blocks, books, shoes, anything that she can push, and she loves to color. She colors with crayons, which the dogs keep eating (oops!) and chalk. She has an easel in her room and pushes a little step stool up to it and sits and draws (and erases) until she's ready for the next task.
She talks A LOT! We love to hear her sweet voice. She can say around 90 -100 words now and that number is growing each day. It's very hard to keep track! She counts to 3, but forgets to say 1, and can get to 6 with our help.
She loves to talk on the phone and frequently calls friends at random by going to the speed dial. She's been known to leave lengthy messages on answering machines. I'm curious about the calls I don't know about!!
Her best friend is Spencer from down the street. They are adorable together. It is fun to watch them talk and play with one another. They are such explorers!
She also loves T.V.! Her favorites shows are: Sesame Street, Backyardigans, Dora, Diego, Wonder Pets, Veggie Tales, Barney and Caillou. She now laughs, claps, and sings along with the program.

What else can I say about our little angel...

She brightens our world. Each day Justin and I say how fortunate we are to be her parents.

We love her to the moon, and back.

These pictures are at my cousin's, Sarah's, wedding.

High Heels to Boots

Charlotte's love for shoes has grown! She loves ALL kinds of shoes from high heels to boots and everything in between. I can't pass the shoe department in a store without her yelling... SHOES!!! I truly don't know where it comes since I'm really not a shoe person. I prefer bags!! It must be an innate quality of her own. I have no doubt bags will follow!
