11 months and growing

Charlotte is growing so big!! Literally right before our eyes!!
Each day she does something new and exciting. She is learning so much each day, for instance;
she speaks Chinese (well that's what it sounds like to me). She will look you directly in the eye and talk to you while using hand gestures. She is SO ready to speak! Her voice is precious! We get a kick out of wondering what she's really saying. I love to translate her words to Justin! I tend to work it in my favor!!

I can't believe almost a year has passed since she came into our lives. I think back to a year ago and remember how anxious we were to be able to see her and hold her! Then she came to us and she was such a tiny little baby; now she's a big beautiful girl. When she plays with the older kids in her play group she can definitely hold her own. She's not afraid to get into the middle of the group just to get the one toy she has her eye on.

Here she is on the backyard bench. We were trying to get the "perfect" 11 month picture, but she had other plans.....

like getting off the bench and playing in the leaves!

It's been gorgeous Fall weather in Dallas. We're loving the cool mornings and beautiful afternoons.

Darling in her hat and mittens!

Nana and Granddad came to visit a few weeks ago. We had a great time with them! Charlotte is still amazed by the huge mustache on Granddad's lip.

Our baby watching TECH beat OSU!!

And another developmental stage Charlotte is going through is she's wanting to do things (everything) by herself. Sometimes it's a good thing and sometimes.....  - well, you decide!

Fun at the Park

Charlotte is 11 months old!

She loves to go to the park to swing, but her new favorite thing is playing with the mulch. She would play in it all day if I'd let her.

Pebbles Flintstone

Charlotte's hair is getting pretty long in the front so I'm going to need to start clipping it up. It changes her look to me! I'm so use to her long bangs swept to the side. I think she looks like Pebbles Flintstone!

Sarah and Todd Palin.....WHAT??

Justin and I dressed as Sarah and Todd Palin for a costume party. Justin grew out a goatee just for the occasion and made our campaign buttons. You can't read them in the picture so I'll help out: (We are trying to make fun of them ~ Not Support Them!!)
