Class of 1998 Reunion

The reunion was real fun! We had a great time. I wish that I got more pictures of the event, but I was lazy and didn't want to carry the camera around the whole weekend. So, I just got a few pics of the picnic Saturday afternoon.

I think that the turn out was pretty good. I got to see a lot of people whom I haven't kept up with since high school. It was good to see what everyone's been up to the last 10 yrs.

left to right: Brianne (Wilson) Schneider, Brandi (Whittington) Brown, Kimberly (Black) Britten, Shae (Goldston) Hastings, and ME
Denise (Burney) Dodson, her daughter Kate and Shea
Justin Meek with his two dogs ~ My Justin and I had a great time with Justin and his girlfriend Becky ~ they were so fun to hang with!!

Time with Uncle Jason

We were so glad that Uncle Jason had a plumbing problem at his house, because that meant that he had to take off work, which also meant he could come to Borger to see us!!
We were sorry for his problem, but so glad we got to see him!!

Wait a minute, "who's this bald man, momma?"
"Oh, he's Uncle Jason and He's the BEST UNCLE EVER!!!"

Reunion Weekend

We went to Borger last weekend for my 10yr. High School Reunion. We had a great time! It was so much getting to show off Charlotte to my old buddies!!

Charlotte and Daddy throwing the ball to Reagan. She absolutely loves Reagan. She giggles every time he runs by ~ it's super cute!! We wish he felt the same way about her.

Her first time seeing a cow.

Wonder what she thinks?

Callie playing by herself ~AND, very close to rolling in some cow poo.

The dogs love it in Borger. They get to RUN RUN RUN!! Too bad for them that we live in the heart of Dallas. COWDOGS IN THE CITY ~ that should be a children's book.

Happy 1st Father's Day

Happy 1st Father's Day, Justin!

We had a great day. Charlotte and I woke Justin up early to give him his presents and cards. Then we took a morning walk with the dogs to get coffee, followed by church and then yard work. I did help Justin with the mowing while Charlotte took a nap, so that he could get to watching golf.

I was fun to celebrate such a WONDERFUL DADDY!!

Bear-a-Cuda

Bear-a-Cuda is baby swim lessons at the Baylor Tom Landry Center. Charlotte loves the water! We did these classes so that Justin and I can be taught how to teach Charlotte to swim and not be afraid of the water.
She's not afraid one bit!!
This picture is right after she came up out of the water. She was totally under the water for 3 seconds! We were taught that babies can learn to hold their breath under water ~ even at 6 months!!

Like Mother, Like Daughter

This is a picture of me at 7 months. I have a pickle in one hand and a chicken bone in the other. Yes, I did ask my mother why in the world would she have given me a chicken bone to chew on! She said her mother had done it for them as babies and that it's supposed to be good for babies gums. Regardless, I seem to be enjoying it!!

Charlotte at 6 months ~ Minus the chicken bone!! She loved this pickle! She thought it was such a great treat!!

First Days of Summer

While Justin was in Germany, Grammie and Kabe came to Dallas. It was Ken's 58th birthday and his and Jacque's 37th wedding anniversary. They had a great time visiting with Miss Charlotte. She loved showing off her new skills for them!

Our friends next door, Lisa and her son Ben, gave us this baby pool. Charlotte loves it. I first had her Baby Pod chair in there for her to sit in, but she quickly wanted out of it. She wasn't one bit afraid. She slithered around on her belly for over an hour in the pool. She loves the water! Loves splashing!!

Justin's Germany Trip

Justin was in Cologne, Germany for work this week. Below are some of the beautiful pictures of his trip.
